Just a few years ago, J.K. Rowling was a single mother living on public assistance in a tiny apartment.
Rowling’s “from rags to riches” story is just as magical as Harry Potter’s world of wizardry. The idea for the award-winning series of books came to Rowling while on a long train ride. She began to put these mystical ideas down on paper while her daughter was taking afternoon naps. The result after 5 years of work—Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
It did not take long for Rowling to receive well-deserved recognition for this first novel in the series. Harry Potter won The British Book Awards Children's Book of the Year, and also earned rave reviews internationally.
Book rights have since been sold to countries all around the world, where children of all ages, races, and cultures are introduced to the universal language of magic.

Storyline: This film introduces Harry Potter, a young, orphaned boy who has been living with his mean Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon. Harry soon learns that there are two worlds—one with the Muggles and another filled with the wonders of magic. He quickly discovers that his destiny lies within this wonderful world of magic.

There are plenty of surprises this time as we find out that not everyone will survive!

As the Harry Potter series has become longer and more intense with the passing of each book it has been rumoured that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be doled out in two parts.
